The Agency makes its Midwest debut

New Michigan office is brokerage's 32nd franchise

Global luxury real estate brokerage The Agency announced the opening of its 32nd franchise and its debut in the Midwest, with a new office located in Birmingham, Michigan.

The new franchise will be known as The Agency Hall & Hunter and will be led by managing partners Brad and Ryan Wolf.

“Our new franchise in Birmingham, Michigan is a true testament to the supreme interest and demand we’re experiencing throughout the U.S. for a brand like The Agency,” Jim Ramsay, the executive vice president of franchise sales at The Agency, said in a statement.

Founded in 1954, the brokerage formerly known as Hall & Hunter was acquired by Dennis Wolf, Brad and Ryan’s father, in 1982. Over the decades the firm has grown to employ more than 90 real estate professionals serving all of Southeast Michigan. Brad Wolf started his sales agent career at Hall & Hunter in 1997 and obtained his broker’s license in 2010. After passing his driving test, Ryan Wolf installed signs for Hall & Hunter after school. He went on to work in the title insurance and mortgage industries before returning to Hall & Hunter in 2015.

The Agency currently has offices located throughout the U.S., the Caribbean, Mexico and Europe. In the past year, the California-based brokerage has rapidly expanded its footprint, opening new franchises in Downtown Toronto, Canada; New Canaan, Connecticut; Montreal, Canada; North Shore-New York; Calgary, Canada; Vancouver, Canada; Boston, Massachusetts; Maui, Hawaii; Las Vegas, Nevada; Ottawa, Canada; Naples, Florida; and Denver, Colorado, in addition to new corporate office locations in Studio City and Pacific Palisades, California.
