Luxury real estate veteran Anne Colvin joins Christie’s

As the vice president of affiliate services, Colvin will supervise relationships between the network and its affiliates

Chicago-based luxury real estate veteran Anne Colvin joined Christie’s International Real Estate as its vice president of affiliate services, the company announced recently.

Colvin’s professional career spans more than 13 years in the real estate industry, in which she focused on ways to help independent brokerage firms succeed through strategies and partnerships.

“Right now, we are focused on delivering more services and resources than ever before, so having someone like Anne, who has deep industry relationships and experience and understands the inner workings of independent brokerages, is incredible for our affiliates and our brand,” said Chris Lim, president of Christie’s International Real Estate, in a prepared statement.

In her new role, which is newly created, Colvin will supervise Christie’s services, including the network’s technology, marketing, and coaching and training.

She will also foster relationships between the network, its affiliates and the Christie’s auction house, according to a statement. Colvin’s role comprises working with the executive team to ensure participation from affiliates.

She says her position will allow her to help Christie’s member firms be successful by using the tools the company offers.

“Between the technology, marketing, training resources, and the rich heritage of Christie’s, I have yet to encounter a luxury real estate brand whose value proposition is more compelling than Christie’s International Real Estate,” Colvin said in the statement.

Prior to this role, she was the director of partnerships at a digital marketing agency for top-producing brokerage firms and agents, Luxury Presence, where she focused on managing engagement with the company’s real estate brokerage and industry partners, and also partook in event and sponsorships initiatives. She also spent more than a decade in various leadership roles at a global network of luxury real estate firms, Luxury Portfolio International.

In December 2021, Chicago-based real estate technology firm @properties acquired Christie’s, after which it uses @properties’ pl@tform™, a brokerage-technology system.

After this, Christie’s has signed on or renewed more than 20 affiliate brokerages. It currently operates in nearly 50 countries and territories through its invitation-only affiliate network of approximately 90 member firms.

In November last year, top Los Angeles-based real estate broker and star of CNBC’s “Listing Impossible” Aaron Kirman and his team, the Aaron Kirman Group, left Compass and launched their own firm in partnership with Christie’s.

RealTrends 500 ranks @properties as the ninth largest residential brokerage firm in the United States, with a closed sales volume of $23.9 billion in 2021.
