The Agency partners with fractional homeownership firm Sonhaus

The Agency will be Sonhaus’ exclusive partner for distribution in the U.S., Canada and Mexico

Luxury brokerage The Agency is exclusively representing fractional homeownership company Sonhaus in all of its sales and distribution in North America.

Founded in 2022, Sonhaus is a fractional second home ownership company for luxury properties in Europe. Sonhaus brings together a group of eight or fewer co-owners to purchase shares of a property, similar to the U.S.-based co-ownership platform Pacaso.

The firm currently has 150 properties – in locales like Marbella, Mykonos, Ibiza and Mallorca – on its roster and it plans on eventually expanding across the world.

“Throughout the past few years, we’ve witnessed the rise of fractional ownership and we look forward to bringing this unique and seamless experience to buyers seeking to own a property in many of the world’s most sought-after destinations,” Mauricio Umansky, the founder and CEO of The Agency said in a statement.

Sonhaus said it helps buyers navigate the entire purchase experience from financing and administration to insurance and local banking and bill. The platform also allows for co-owners to sell, swap or rent properties from other Sonhaus owners.

“Sonhaus removes the obstacles related to not only purchasing a property in another country, but also the management and design of that property, creating a one stop shop for owners,” David Parnes, an agent with The Agency handling the account, said in a statement.
