Former Pacific Union COO moves to Berkshire

Brent Thomson to join BHHS Drysdale Properties as a strategic advisor

The former COO of Pacific Union International which merged with Compass’ California operation is making the move over to Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Drysdale Properties, according to an announcement on Thursday.

With over 30 years of experience in the real estate industry, Brent Thomson is an industry veteran. She formerly served as COO of Pacific Union International, eventually leading the brokerage’s merger with Compass in 2018.

“Brent has a proven track record of success and has earned the reputation of being one of the most effective real estate executives who has always attracted the top sales professionals and best real estate leadership,” Gretchen Pearson, the president and CEO of Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Drysdale Properties, said in a statement. “She is known to be a real powerhouse, and her straightforward yet caring style is aligned with how we operate here.”

At BHHS Drysdale Properties, Thomson will serve as a strategic advisor to the firm throughout Northern California and Nevada.

BHHS Drysdale Properties currently has 45 offices throughout Northern California and Nevada with over 1,300 agents. In 2021, the firm closed 4,994 transaction sides, amounting to $3.689 billion in sales volume, according to RealTrends rankings data.
