Christie’s International Real Estate adds St. Croix office

New Christie’s office will be led by Jill Cherubin who is coming over from Coldwell Banker

Christie’s International Real Estate U.S. Virgin Islands is opening its first office on the island of St. Croix.

The brokerage’s owners and agents had been serving customers in St. Croix from the firm’s home office in St. Thomas, but an uptick in interest from buyers in St. Croix over the past few years prompted the Christie’s International Real Estate affiliate to open an office on the island.

The new office will be located in downtown Christiansted and it will be led by Jill Cherubin, who is moving over to Christie’s from Coldwell Banker St. Croix Realty. Cherubin will be joined by former Coldwell Banker teammate, broker Pamela Hunt McFadden.

“Our buyers’ market remains strong,” Cherubin said in a statement. “The pandemic fast tracked many buyers that may have had a five-year dream of property ownership in the Caribbean. Many decided you only live once, and went for it.”

Christie’s International Real Estate USVI has more than 20 agents in offices serving all of the U.S. Virgin Islands. Cherubin said she plans to add at least a dozen more agents to the firm, based out of the St. Croix office.

Besides the U.S. Virgin Islands affiliate, Christie’s International Real Estate has several affiliates throughout the Caribbean, including in the Bahamas, St. Barthélemy, St. Martin, the Cayman Islands, Turks and Caicos, and the British Virgin Islands.
