Brokerage firm eXp expands its board of directors

Peggie Pelosi joins eXp World Holdings board

Anywhere Real Estate made the decision to expand its board last week, and now eXp World Holdings has also opted to expand its board of directors. The firm announced Monday that it had appointed Peggie Pelosi to its board of directors, a move that was effective as of last Thursday.

The eXp board now has eight directors, four of whom are independent.

“We are thrilled to welcome Peggie Pelosi to our Board of Directors,” Glenn Sanford, the founder, CEO and chairman of eXp World Holdings, said in a statement. “Peggie brings deep experience in independent contractor direct sales models, field member development and environmental, social, governance (ESG) strategy, which will be valuable as we continue to grow and enhance our agent value proposition.”

Pelosi has been a founding partner and strategic advisor at Orinda Special Purpose, a corporate social responsibility consultancy in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, since 2005. She has also served as the executive director of Innovators Alliance since 2015.

Before pivoting her career in 2004 to focus on corporate social responsibility and sustainability, Pelosi was a member of USANA Health Sciences, Inc.’s management team. She first served as executive director of sales for Canada and later became the vice president of network development.

Pelosi is still a member of USANA’s board of directors and serves as the chair of the firm’s sustainability committee.
