Real Estate Technology Startup Luxury Presence Closes $2.13 Million Seed Round

Switch Ventures Led the Round with Participation from Stanford Associated Accelerator StartX

Luxury Presence has announced a $2.13 million seed round of funding.

Luxury Presence, a technology company providing real estate marketing and website design services to the world’s leading agents and brokers, today announced a $2.13 million seed round of funding led by Switch Ventures with investments from StartX, Stanford Graduate School of Business professors Peter Kelly and Gerald Risk, and several angel investors.

The funding will enable Luxury Presence to accelerate the development of its marketing and growth platform for real estate agents and enterprise-level brokerage companies. Luxury Presence’s enhanced platform will feature an innovative new home and property search experience and more robust marketing services, including advertising tools for Facebook and Google, additional lead generation tools and a marketing recommendation engine for agents.

Luxury Presence is the brainchild of Malte Kramer, a Stanford MBA, former college and professional basketball player, a published author, and founder of the philanthropy app Givvr. Kramer conceived the idea for Luxury Presence while in business school in Silicon Valley in 2015. He identified a void in the real estate industry.

While other industries had adopted the latest marketing practices, the real estate industry was still utilizing antiquated technology. Luxury Presence was launched as the solution, providing cutting-edge technology and marketing tools combined with white-glove service for real estate agents and brokerages.

“As the industry has shifted online, many agents have struggled to keep up with the fast pace of the changes in technology and digital marketing. Our goal is to give agents a way to grow their business online without having to spend hours learning complex new systems,” said Founder and CEO Malte Kramer.

Luxury Presence currently services more than 300 clients worldwide, an approximately 392% increase in the last year; and 17 of its clients were ranked in the top 100 in the U.S. by the Wall Street Journal and REAL Trends.

Headquartered in a new 4,100-square-foot office space in Santa Monica, Luxury Presence’s team is comprised of 30 professionals that are passionate about technology, real estate and marketing. The company is poised for significant growth with plans to scale its team to over 50 people within the next six to twelve months

Jade Mills, a Beverly Hills broker renowned and respected globally with more than $4 billion in career sales, started out as one of Luxury Presence’s first clients and is thrilled to participate as an investor in the round. “Luxury Presence understands what it takes to make the right impression,” said Mills. “I’ve closed several multi-million-dollar deals as a direct result of using their platform, and I am continually impressed by its growing product offering.”

Luxury Presence recently launched several new products and services, including a property website product; an upgraded organic IDX search tool; and a new admin dashboard with CMS and blogging tools. In addition, the company launched its Brokerage Division this summer, which focuses on partnerships with brokerage houses. The partnerships provide brokerages with access to Luxury Presence’s beautiful, fully-branded agent and property websites as a product offering to their agents.
