Inside Real Estate acquires AmpStats to strengthen product offerings

The terms of the deal were not disclosed

Real estate software company Inside Real Estate on Wednesday announced acquiring AmpStats, a SaaS platform for brokerages to develop solutions around recruiting, retaining and coaching agents.

The goal of the acquisition is to strengthen Inside Real Estate’s product offerings to more than 400,000 agents, teams and brokerages while improving its recruiting features.

The terms of the deal were not disclosed. However, AmpStats will remain a standalone product offering for brokerages in certain markets.

AmpStats highlights performance metrics to aid brokerages with easily identifying candidates, according to a press release about the acquisition. Features like production data and transaction heat maps can be accessed for agent recruitment.

According to Inman, AmpStats absorbs regional performance data and supplies it to agent profiles and broker alert systems, creating comparisons and matching agents to broker needs.

Brokers can also showcase their “impact and value” to prospective agents through visualizations on net income comparisons and earnings breakdowns, according to the statement announcing the acquisition.

The real-time data helps brokers access competitive intelligence, enabling them to gain higher profitability, said Jay Teresi, the founder and CEO of AmpStats.

Teresi will join the Inside Real Estate team as a member of the leadership team that supports back-office operations.

“AmpStats arms brokerages and their leadership with the actionable intelligence they need to increase productivity and strategically expand market share,” Joe Skousen, CEO of Inside Real Estate.

Skousen added that the integration of AmpStats into Inside Real Estate’s platform can help brokers manage talent through a data-driven recruitment and retention system.

Inside Real Estate released CORE Home, its homeownership technology, earlier this month. It’s exclusively available to customers of its flagship platform, kvCORE, which allows brokerages to create a unique tech ecosystem via customer branding and integrations.

AmpStats will be integrated into this platform and will also be available for purchase by brokerage customers.
