These fast-growing real estate brokerages/teams made the Inc. 5000 list

DASH Carolina, a RealTrends Nation's Best real estate brokerage, was ranked No. 436 in the Inc. 5000 company rankings

More than 60 real estate brokerage firms or real estate teams were named to Inc. Magazine‘s 5000 list for 2022, a ranking of the fastest-growing companies in America.

DASH Carolina, a RealTrends Nation’s Best real estate brokerage, was ranked No. 436 in the Inc. 5000 company rankings with growth rate of 1,422%.

ERA Legacy Living’s 5511 Ventures came in next at No. 558. ERA Legacy is also on the 2022 RealTrends Nation’s Best.

Greenville, South Carolina-based Bluefield Realty Group came in No. 580 on the Inc. list. They are currently not on the RealTrends rankings.

United Real Estate Group, which is ranked No. 8 by sides and No. 14 by volume in the RealTrends 500 rankings, ranked No. 786 on the Inc. 5000 rankings, up from No. 1,055 last year.

The low-fee brokerage, which built its own end-to-end tech platform, has recently acquired several real estate brokerage firms, including Pearson Smith Realty, which ranked among the top 100 real estate companies by transaction sides in the RT500 brokerage rankings. The merger increases United’s network to more than 21,000 agents across 630 offices globally.

RealTrends only allows residential sales transactions and does not include leases, lots, rentals, land or commercial numbers in its rankings, while Inc. 5000 includes numbers for all types of sales. This allowed DASH Carolina and ERA Legacy’s 5511 Ventures to rank higher in the Inc. 5000 rankings.

Several RealTrends GameChangers did make the Inc. 5000 list. GameChangers are chosen based on percentage growth in transaction sides between 2016 and 2020. This year’s GameChangers that made the Inc. 5000 list include Lamacchia Realty (2,161), Professional Realty Services International (2,233) and Realty Group (2,763).

RealTrends 500 and Nation’s Best firms on the list include: The Agency, Houwzer, Lokation Real Estate, Rogers Healy and Associates, Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate Momentum, Big Block Realty, HomeSmart, JPAR Real Estate and Atlanta Communities Real Estate.

Real estate teams on the Inc. 5000

The Inc. 5000 rankings also includes real estate teams who were ranked in the RealTrends The Thousand (RT1000) and America’s Best. Some teams ranked in the Inc. 5000 include Mark Spain Real Estate (1973), EmpowerHome (2000), and The Heyl Group of Keller Williams Realty.

The Rosin Team, powered by eXp Realty (1215), which was not listed in the RealTrends rankings also ranked in the Inc. 5000.

RealTrends independently verifies all production for agents and teams. The Inc. 500 does not distinguish between brokerages and teams.

According to the Inc. methodology: Companies on the 2022 Inc. 5000 are ranked according to percentage revenue growth from 2018 to 2021. To qualify, companies must have been founded and generating revenue by March 31, 2018. They must be U.S.-based, privately held, for-profit, and independent–not subsidiaries or divisions of other companies–as of December 31, 2021. (Since then, some on the list may have gone public or been acquired.) The minimum revenue required for 2018 is $100,000; the minimum for 2021 is $2 million.
