Automation has found its way into many facets of the housing industry in recent years, thanks to the introduction of AI-driven chat tools for agent marketing and automated lead generation, along with other new and innovative technologies. And, with the launch of‘s new tech, one more functionality will be added to that list: AI-powered property descriptions. announced on Thursday that it launched the “Property Descriptions” tool that uses photos and basic listing information to produce AI-powered, ready-to-use property descriptions. The goal is to make it easier and faster for real estate agents to create property listing descriptions, according to the company.

“Creating listing descriptions has long been a time-consuming process, taking agents up to 30 minutes or longer to complete but now our Property Descriptions solution can generate complex and creative descriptions in mere seconds,” said Nathan Brannen, chief product officer at

The new tool uses “AI-powered computer vision, natural language processing (NLP) and large language models (LLM) to generate unique, captivating, and human-like property descriptions from photos and data provided by real estate agents when listing properties for sale in the Multiple Listing Service (MLS),” according to a statement from the company.

The Property Descriptions computer vision technology uses photos to detect over 300 property features, according to the company, many of which are not included in the typical listing. The AI listings tool also has the functionality to integrate with numerous third-party APIs, allowing for the enhancement and localization of listings while adding valuable details to the property description.

In addition, agents can personalize the listings produced by the tool, according to Brannen. Property Descriptions gives agents access to a range of different tones and styles that are used to create listing remarks that match the agent’s personal brand.

Agents can also make final tweaks before the AI-generated listings are published and can “instantly regenerate” new AI-produced listings as alternatives.

Per the company, the listings are also compliant with the rules of the Fair Housing Act.

Property Descriptions is currently accessible to MLSs, MLS vendors, brokerages and portals in the U.S. and Canada. It is available as part of the listing creation process through the company’s existing partnerships, which serve the agents and brokers generating over 80% of all North American property listings.

The AI solution currently supports more than 50 languages and reduces direct and opportunity costs by 90%, according to the company.
