Hottinger Team returns to Douglas Elliman after seven years

The team was associated with Douglas Elliman for almost six years before moving onto Corcoran in 2016

Richard Hottinger and his eponymous seven-member group, The Hottinger Team, have left The Corcoran Group after a seven-year stint to rejoin Douglas Elliman, according to Inman.

“Richard and his team’s record of achievements in two of the most dominant real estate markets in the world speaks for itself and we are thrilled to have them as part of the Elliman family,” Howard M. Lorber, Douglas Elliman’s executive chairman, told Inman.

Hottinger told Inman the decision was prompted by the opportunities at the brokerage to “work on even more new development projects and to establish a firmer foothold in Miami.”

The team was associated with Douglas Elliman for almost six years before moving to Corcoran in 2016. Prior to forming the team, Hottinger was a solo real estate salesperson at Stribling & Associates.

Norma-Jean Callahan joined Hottinger at Corcoran in 2021 to form the Hottinger-Callahan Team. Callahan is a real estate broker in New York and Florida and the sales director of The Shore Club Private Collection at Douglas Elliman.

Hottinger will be responsible for the sales at Florida-based condominium Diesel Wynwood in his role at Douglas Elliman, which the website describes as a “bohemian loft-style architecture is a tribute to the iconic Soho neighborhood in Manhattan.”

The team’s offices will be based New York and Florida and will operate in and serve the two states.

Hottinger closed $250 million in transactions in the last two years. The team includes Frank Lulgjuraj, Adam Hernandez, Sari Ingerman, Gabriella Abdelnour, Melissa Au-Yueng and Sofia Rovirosa.

The team ranked 48th in RealTrends’ top medium teams by volume in New York in 2021.
