Stacy Jones, who previously led a Sotheby’s franchise, recently Compass as Head of Top Producers for the company’s Luxury Division.
Jones was previously co-owner and chief people officer at Realogics Sotheby’s International Realty located in Seattle.
According to a press release, Compass CEO Robert Reffkin said, “Stacy comes to Compass with a passion for building meaningful relationships, expertise in business strategy development, and an agent-first mindset, making her an ideal addition to the company
With the market changing, Compass has stepped back from its merger and acquisition strategy to focus on agent productivity. “I would say that the growth that I’m most focused on is the growth of our agents’ businesses,” said Reffkin in a RealTrending podcast.
Reffkin also discussed that strategy in an interview with RealTrends in March. “I didn’t found Compass to be a technology company. I founded it to be a company that makes agents better,” Reffkin says.
“Agents who facilitate the transactions of the world’s most exclusive properties and advise an exclusive group of high-net-worth individuals require a personalized and intricate level of attention,” said Jones in a press release.. “I’m energized by the opportunity to work for this select group — listening to their wants and needs while drawing upon my industry experience — to curate programs that will exceed the expectations of their clients.”
Compass launched its Luxury Division in February 2020 to offer marketing support for luxury properties.
