CubiCasa and Georgia MLS announce floor plan partnership

CubiCasa launched the MLS Partnership Program last month to help MLSs gain access to free floor plans

Georgia MLS joined CubiCasa’s MLS partnership program, which the software company launched in December 2022. CubiCasa’s first contract was with PrimeMLS which operates in New England.

The program allows MLSs to access CubiCasa’s free floor plans. In addition to this, MLS members will receive discounts on optional add-on features like Fixed Furniture details, Digital GLA or expedited deliveries, digitized property information and a directory of real estate photographers, through the partnership.

The National Association of Realtors‘ 2022 Home Buyers and Sellers Generational Trends Report says floor plans (55%) rank as the third most-desired listing feature for homebuyers, after photos (84%) and detailed information about properties for sale (80%). However according to CubiCasa, only 10-15% home listings in the U.S. have floor plans.

Jeff Allen, president of CubiCasa, says the company’s aim is to expand the use of floor plans on every listing in the United States.

“The demand for floor plans and more property information is clear, and MLS companies and real estate agents can really benefit from our digital floor plan technology,” Allen added.

Georgia MLS provides services to more than 52,000 agents in 4,400 offices.

“The CubiCasa app has the power to expand access to property information and provide homebuyers and real estate professionals alike with more value in the homebuying process,” said Richard Boone, CEO of Georgia MLS, in a prepared statement.

In August, CubiCasa launched a free digital floor plan technology and in November, reported a 455% year-over-year increase in new user signups. CubiCasa’s technology is currently used in 172 different countries and has created more than 1 million floor plans to date, according to the statement.

The company says it takes about five minutes to generate a floor plan for an entire house using its app.

In September 2021, Clear Capital bought CubiCasa and it is now a fully owned subsidiary of Clear Capital. CubiCasa’s floor plan technology was integrated with Clear Capital’s mobile property data collection application ClearInsight Platform, through the acquisition.
