Chime says AI chatbot has 93% conversational accuracy

The company attributes this to the “consistent coaching and humanizing of the chatbot” and four years of strategic product development

Phoenix-based real estate sales acceleration platform Chime Technologies announced on Monday that its chatbot AI Assistant has a 93% conversational accuracy. In the past year, it has increased daily messages by more than 322% and daily lead responses by more than 108%, according to the company.

Chime attributes the success of its chatbot to the “consistent coaching and humanizing of the chatbot” and four years of strategic product development, according to a statement from the company.

“Four years ago, our forward-thinking product development team recognized the potential for AI to significantly impact the real estate industry and delivered a powerful and intuitive chatbot designed to help agents work smarter and not harder,” said Dave Carter, vice president of marketing at Chime in the statement.

Chatbot adoption among customers also increased by 46% in 2022, according to Chime.

“We will continue to prioritize humanizing our AI to deliver high quality interactions for the benefit of agents and consumers alike,” Carter said.

AI Assistant, launched in 2019, is powered by machine learning and natural language processing technologies. A team at Chime also regularly trains it to “deliver the operational intelligence agents need to close deals,” according to the statement. The team reviews thousands of conversations to gauge its performance.

According to its website, the chatbot’s conversational capabilities cover the entire buying and selling process. The tool helps clients set appointments and showings with leads and converts cold leads into hot leads with a campaign lasting six months.

Chime claims AI Assistant saves time and fits workflows by sending notifications to clients when a lead engages. It also provides clients with AI groups and tags to manage leads.

Through these features, Chime aims to help increase agent productivity and boost conversion rates while integrating the chatbot into its sales acceleration platform.

Some AI Assistant packages also include a Facebook Messenger integration, which allows the chatbot to communicate with leads through the social media platform.

Among the new features the company added to AI Assistant are the option to schedule a showing direction based on lead’s availability, responding directly to listing ad questions, integration with its Smart Plans, and cold-lead nurturing.

Chime Technologies operates as a U.S. subsidiary of Renren, Inc. Last November, the company launched a lead-generation geo-farming feature. The tech combines local market intelligence with AI-powered marketing automation, helping agents narrow down high-potential areas for marketing investments.
