Emphasizing and connecting the joy of holding hands with the joy of finding that perfect home delivers a message that relates to all people, said Ashby &amp; Graff in a press release promoting the video.<u><\/u><u><\/u><\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/OgnV-F2mA5c\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>The brokerage notes that denial of housing or jobs because of failure to include LGBTQ people in anti-discrimination statutes. A recent study found same-sex couples are&nbsp;denied mortgages 73 percent more frequently than opposite-sex couples of similar financial worthiness. A <a href=\"fear-of-housing-discrimination-prevents-lgbt-homeownership\/\">separate study<\/a> by Freddie Mac and the National Association of Gay &amp; Lesbian Real Estate Professionals found 46 percent of LGBT renters fear discrimination in the home-buying process.<u><\/u><u><\/u><\/p>\n<p>Pride Month is held in June to commemorate&nbsp;the 1969 uprising at Stonewall in Greenwich Village. Coincidentally, June is also <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nar.realtor\/june-is-national-homeownership-month\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">National Homeownership Month<\/a>.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>&#8220;The LGBTQ community has taken incredible strides toward true equality but there is still progress to be made,&#8221; said Ashby &amp; Graff CEO John Graff. &#8220;We celebrate the gains but recommit to fighting for a better and more equal future on behalf of our employees, clients and their families.\u201d<u><\/u><u><\/u><\/p>\n<p>\u201cAt Ashby &amp; Graff, we embrace and value our differences because it is diversity of thought that strengthens us.
