Gavin Blair, CEO of the Iowa Association of Realtors\u00ae, hosted the inaugural meeting.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>The group, known as The Assembly, is comprised of CEOs Jeremy Walker of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.alabamarealtors.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Alabama Realtors\u00ae<\/a>, Margy Grant of <a href=\"http:\/\/www.floridarealtors.org\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Florida Realtors\u00ae<\/a>, Gary Clayton of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.illinoisrealtors.org\/education\/?keyword_session_id=vt~adwords|kt~illinois%20realtors|mt~e|ta~329178809646&amp;_vsrefdom=wordstream&amp;gclid=Cj0KCQjw_OzrBRDmARIsAAIdQ_LSTWzALn1Rx5okbIA5z_P1WQfMCYZ2bZ2uiYhSrH8yOkCIc-JtIMcaAmazEALw_wcB\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Illinois Realtors\u00ae<\/a>, Gavin Blair of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.iowarealtors.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Iowa Association of Realtors\u00ae<\/a>, Rob Campeau of Michigan Realtors\u00ae, John Sebree of Missouri Realtors\u00ae, Teresa McKee of the Nevada Association of Realtors\u00ae, Scott Williams of Ohio Realtors\u00ae, Jenny Pakula of the <a href=\"https:\/\/oregonrealtors.org\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Oregon Association of Realtors\u00ae<\/a>, and Chris Kyler of the <a href=\"https:\/\/utahrealtors.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Utah Association of Realtors\u00ae<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"www.realtrendswebrankings.com\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-59577 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/www.realtrends.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/9\/2021\/01\/WR-banner-1.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"1200\" height=\"250\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The Assembly focuses on sharing general information in the areas of public policy, advocacy, and general business trends, as well as best practices for improving member services. Twice a year, the members perform an organized review and tour of the host member to give input into strategic planning, organization health, and business issues in a formal review process.<\/p>\n<p>Bill Martin, the former CEO of Florida Realtors\u00ae and <a href=\"http:\/\/housingwire.com\/realtrends-blog\">Steve Murray, president of REAL Trends<\/a>, assisted in the formation of The Assembly and will serve as facilitators on an ongoing basis.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhen I was CEO at Florida Realtors\u00ae, we were in a group like this, and the sharing, interaction, and critique were hugely valuable to me in that role. I thought that Steve and I could build other groups of Realtor CEOs in a similar format.\u201d&nbsp; Murray echoed that, \u201cREAL Trends has established and facilitated CEO groups for the past 30 years for both brokerage and Realtor CEOs.
