{"id":4438,"date":"2023-06-14T18:22:38","date_gmt":"2023-06-14T18:22:38","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.realtrends.com\/blog\/2023\/06\/14\/anywhere-names-new-presidents-for-bhgre-and-era-brands\/"},"modified":"2025-03-13T02:51:44","modified_gmt":"2025-03-13T02:51:44","slug":"anywhere-names-new-presidents-for-bhgre-and-era-brands","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.realtrends.com\/blog\/2023\/06\/14\/anywhere-names-new-presidents-for-bhgre-and-era-brands\/","title":{"rendered":"Anywhere names new presidents for BHGRE and ERA brands"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Nearly two months after real estate industry veteran <a href=\"https:\/\/www.realtrends.com\/blog\/articles\/industry-veteran-sherry-chris-talks-healthy-risk-taking\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Sherry Chris<\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.realtrends.com\/blog\/articles\/sherry-chris-anywhere-president-and-ceo-is-retiring\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">announced her retirement,<\/a> the two <strong>Anywhere<\/strong> brands she led for decades, <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.realtrends.com\/blog\/articles\/nicosia-joins-the-better-homes-and-gardens-leadership-team\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate<\/a><\/strong> and <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.realtrends.com\/blog\/articles\/anywhere-subsidiary-era-expands-into-uruguay\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">ERA Real Estate<\/a><\/strong>, both have new presidents, according to an announcement on Wednesday from <a href=\"https:\/\/www.housingwire.com\/tag\/realogy\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Anywhere Real Estate<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ginger Wilcox will serve as president of BHGRE and Alex Vidal will lead ERA.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In her role as BHGRE president, Wilcox will oversee a network of more than 12,000 agents and 420 offices worldwide.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;As a third-generation real estate agent, I am fortunate to have an insider perspective on how the real estate industry is rapidly evolving and challenging us to adapt and innovate,&#8221; Wilcox, a HousingWire <a href=\"https:\/\/www.housingwire.com\/winner-profile\/2022-woman-of-influence-ginger-wilcox\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Woman of Influence<\/a> recipient in 2022, said in a statement. &#8220;I am thrilled to have this opportunity to lead the BHGRE network of affiliates and agents. I look forward to leveraging my passion and skills for building strong brands and exceptional customer experiences so that, together, we can create a sustainable future for both the communities we serve and for our industry.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Prior to calling the shots at BHGRE, Wilcox served as co-CEO and chief revenue officer for <strong>RealSure<\/strong>, an iBuying joint venture between Anywhere and <strong>Home Partners of America<\/strong> that <a href=\"https:\/\/www.realtrends.com\/blog\/articles\/anywhere-real-estate-makes-another-round-of-cuts\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">shut down earlier<\/a> this year. Immediately prior to taking this post, Vidal worked as a Texas-based regional vice president for <strong>Coldwell Banker<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cHis knack for agent and brokerage growth, authentic focus on service, and proven team building ability,\u201d Liz Gehringer, the president and CEO of <strong>Anywhere Franchise Brands<\/strong>, said of Vidal in a statement, \u201cwill be an asset to our entire network around the world.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Anywhere has made numerous changes to its C-suite over the last six months.
