{"id":4429,"date":"2023-06-13T16:00:00","date_gmt":"2023-06-13T16:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.realtrends.com\/blog\/2023\/06\/13\/keller-williams-looks-to-level-up-command\/"},"modified":"2025-03-13T02:51:42","modified_gmt":"2025-03-13T02:51:42","slug":"keller-williams-looks-to-level-up-command","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.realtrends.com\/blog\/2023\/06\/13\/keller-williams-looks-to-level-up-command\/","title":{"rendered":"Keller Williams looks to level up Command"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>Keller Williams<\/strong> is launching multiple upgrades to both the desktop and mobile application versions of <strong>Command<\/strong>, the brokerage\u2019s agent platform and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.housingwire.com\/tag\/crm\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">CRM solution<\/a>, the company said Tuesday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>After launching a desktop version in February 2019, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.housingwire.com\/tag\/keller-williams\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Keller Williams<\/a> launched the mobile application version of Command in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.realtrends.com\/blog\/articles\/keller-williams-launches-command-mobile-application\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">December 2021<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The new updates to Command include a lead management automation, which gives agents the ability to create rules that automatically tag and apply communication and marketing plans to a new lead; an automation in Designs, the firm\u2019s marketing collateral creation application, that automatically embeds listings and agent profile information into marketing materials; digital business cards; the ability to import phone contacts directly into the Command app; a profit sharing widget that allows agents to track passive income earnings; and client inquiries and tour request widgets, which allow agents to view client inquiries and set up tours with listing agents.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Keller Williams executives say these enhancements were all made with the goal of increasing <a href=\"https:\/\/www.realtrends.com\/blog\/articles\/the-evolution-of-the-more-productive-real-estate-agent\/\">agent productivity<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cWe want to give productivity back to the agent,\u201d Dan Djuric, Keller Williams\u2019 head of enterprise data and advanced analytics, said. \u201cWhat can we deliver in terms of time and time is currency.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In the early days of Command, the brokerage received quite a bit of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.realtrends.com\/blog\/articles\/inside-keller-williamss-revolutionary-app\/\">criticism<\/a> from agents who found both the mobile application and desktop versions of the platform to be \u201cslow\u201d and \u201cclunky.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cWe use KW Labs as the way we take the pulse of how our agents use our technology,\u201d Chris Cox, the firm\u2019s chief technology and digital officer, said. \u201cThe things that we really focused on for this most recent release are things like the digital business card that were highly requested by our agents.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Cox said the firm has also worked on the \u201cteamification\u201d of the platform by increasing opportunities for collaboration, including on marketing materials, and creating ways for team leaders to automatically send new leads to the team member best suited for the lead.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cWe have made it so much easier for teams to communicate and interact,\u201d Cox said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Looking ahead, Keller Williams executives are working on ways to incorporate generative <a href=\"https:\/\/www.housingwire.com\/tag\/artificial-intelligence\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">artificial intelligence<\/a> technology into Command, including leveraging it to help agents write listing descriptions and blog posts, as well as creating a digital assistant tool.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cWe are really focused on what is going to add value and help create more business, as opposed to just what is cool and sometimes those are one and the same and sometimes they aren\u2019t,\u201d Cox said. \u201cI think another thing that distinguishes what we are doing is that we are building it inside of Command instead of launching it as a standalone service.
