{"id":3956,"date":"2023-02-03T21:45:39","date_gmt":"2023-02-03T21:45:39","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.realtrends.com\/blog\/2023\/02\/03\/second-century-ventures-announces-the-2023-reach-australia-cohort\/"},"modified":"2025-03-13T02:49:01","modified_gmt":"2025-03-13T02:49:01","slug":"second-century-ventures-announces-the-2023-reach-australia-cohort","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.realtrends.com\/blog\/2023\/02\/03\/second-century-ventures-announces-the-2023-reach-australia-cohort\/","title":{"rendered":"Second Century Ventures announces the 2023 REACH Australia cohort"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>Second Century Ventures <\/strong>(SCV), the strategic investment arm of the <strong>National Association of Realtors <\/strong>(NAR),<strong> <\/strong>announced the names of the eight companies it has chosen to participate in the <strong>REACH Australia<\/strong> program in March of this year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>REACH Australia is led by managing partner Peter Schravemade, director Ebonnie Schravemade and entrepreneur in residence Tom Ellis.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cThis portfolio has demonstrated tremendous relevance and innovation to the global real estate industry, and we are excited about the growth 2023 will bring,\u201d Schravemade said in a statement from SCV.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The companies were chosen based on the technologies they employ and the extent in which they can impact the real estate industry, according to the statement.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The eight companies include smart home technology and property management company <strong>Sensor Global, <\/strong>renter payment app <strong>Liz, <\/strong>optimization engine <strong>QuantPS <\/strong>or <strong>Quant Property Solutions, <\/strong>and<strong> <\/strong>property management platform <strong>Tapi.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The other companies include <strong>ListAssist.ai<\/strong>, a<strong> <\/strong>company that writes listing descriptions using AI, offer management platform <strong>MarketBuy.com.au,<\/strong> conveyancer and lawyer SaaS solution <strong>Realtime Conveyancer<\/strong>, and real estate social media marketing company <strong>Properti.ai.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The tech accelerator program has been running for four years and <a href=\"https:\/\/nar-reach.com\/australia\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">provides<\/a> cohort participants access to investors, exposure to networking events including an \u2018insight panel\u2019 of 10,000 real estate professionals, and community-building with more than 100 alumni companies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The program also <a href=\"https:\/\/nar-reach.com\/australia\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">leverages<\/a> 100 bilateral partnerships in 85 countries and a portfolio of more than 100 technology companies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The other cohorts include <strong>REACH Commercial, REACH Canada <\/strong>and<strong> REACH UK. <\/strong>SCV manages a portfolio of over 200 technology companies through these programs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Last year, SCV <a href=\"https:\/\/www.realtrends.com\/blog\/articles\/nar-announces-2022-reach-cohort\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">chose<\/a> 17 companies for the REACH program \u2014 eight from the residential sector and the other nine from the commercial sector.
