Stacy Jones, who previously led a Sotheby’s franchise, recently Compass<\/strong> as Head of Top Producers for the company\u2019s Luxury Division. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Jones was previously co-owner and chief people officer at Realogics Sotheby’s International Realty<\/strong> located in Seattle.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to a press release, Compass CEO Robert Reffkin said, \u201cStacy comes to Compass with a passion for building meaningful relationships, expertise in business strategy development, and an agent-first mindset, making her an ideal addition to the company<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With the market changing, Compass has stepped back from its merger and acquisition strategy to focus on agent productivity<\/a>. “I would say that the growth that I\u2019m most focused on is the growth of our agents\u2019 businesses,” said Reffkin in a RealTrending<\/a> podcast. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Reffkin also discussed<\/a> that strategy in an interview with RealTrends in March. \u201cI didn\u2019t found Compass to be a technology company. I founded it to be a company that makes agents better,\u201d Reffkin says.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cAgents who facilitate the transactions of the world\u2019s most exclusive properties and advise an exclusive group of high-net-worth individuals require a personalized and intricate level of attention,\u201d said Jones in a press release.. \u201cI’m energized by the opportunity to work for this select group \u2014 listening to their wants and needs while drawing upon my industry experience \u2014 to curate programs that will exceed the expectations of their clients.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
