Of all the things the department experienced throughout the pandemic, the accelerated adoption of technology was among the most significant: &nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe never wanted to have a beta test like we\u2019ve all lived through [in] the last six or seven months but it\u2019s been amazing to see how we\u2019ve all adapted using technology.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Mr. Montgomery, with an extensive background in housing and vast experience spearheading large-scale policy initiatives, was confirmed as Deputy Secretary in May of this year.
