Also included are the firm\u2019s mortgage and title companies.<\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<div>&#8220;It is no surprise that HomeServices acquired this fine firm.&nbsp; Long the dominant residential firm in the Dallas Ft Worth area, Ebby Halliday has tremendous market share and has been the top independent brokerage in Texas for many many years.&nbsp; The firm is an excellent fit for HomeServices and the firm it already owns in the market, Allie Beth Allman.&nbsp; This will strengthen the HomeServices presence in the Dallas area and likely provide some synergies between these two HomeServices companies.&nbsp; HomeServices continues to grow its wholly owned brokerage business and with this acquisition, likely will pass Realogy&#8217;s NRT unit to become the largest wholly owned brokerage unit in the U.S at year&#8217;s end.&nbsp; With NRT slowing their own acquisition pace we won&#8217;t know this for certain until the year is over. &#8220;<\/div>\n<div>&#8211; Steve Murray, President, REAL Trends Inc.<\/div>\n<\/blockquote>\n<div>&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div>&nbsp;<\/div>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Ebby Halliday Acers founded Ebby Halliday, REALTORS\u00ae in 1945.
