The new <\/span>LGBTQ+ Real Estate Alliance has announced its Board of Directors in advance of the organization\u2019s launch on October 1.<\/span><\/p>\n

John Thorpe was elected as The Alliance\u2019s first president. Alex Cruz will serve as Vice President, Patrick Ruble as Secretary and Scott Armstrong, who will serve as interim Treasurer for the remainder of 2020. All other roles will extend through the end of 2021.<\/span> V<\/span>eteran mortgage lender Ryan Weyandt has been named the CEO. <\/span><\/p>\n

The Board was confirmed by the 53-person Steering Committee that consists of <\/span>leading members of the real estate industry including agents, brokers, brand leaders, lending and title professionals and members of the LGBTQ+ community.<\/span><\/p>\n

An incredibly strong showing of support enabled Jack Conway & Company to raise $67,146 to support those facing housing insecurity in Eastern Massachusetts. Monies were raised at the 36th<\/sup> Annual Jack Conway<\/a> Memorial Golf Tournament which was held in conjunction with a Conway-funded Matching Gifts Drive. The proceeds will benefit Father Bill\u2019s & Mainspring whose efforts serve individuals, veterans and families facing homelessness.<\/span> <\/span><\/p>\n

The sense of need compelled unmatched generosity this year and all 32 team slots sold out in record time. On September 24, 128 agents, vendors and partners participated in the golf event held at Easton Country Club in Easton, MA that looked a bit different than past years as efforts were taken to comply with Covid-19 precautions, but with the great cause, great company, and great weather, the event was a huge success.<\/span><\/p>\n

In lieu of what would have been an auction, raffle, and luncheon event, additional physical and electronic donations were taken on the course as well as online by those who could not be at the tournament but wanted a way to contribute. Matthew Consalvo Named <\/strong>Shuttleworth MLS Executive <\/strong>Of The Year Award Recipient <\/strong><\/h5>\n

The Council of Multiple Listing Services (CMLS) named Matthew Consalvo, CEO of Arizona Regional Multiple Listing Service (ARMLS), the sixth recipient of the Shuttleworth MLS Executive of the Year Award during the virtual CMLS conference (CMLS2020) on Oct. 5. Christopher Carrillo, CEO of Metro MLS and the 2019 Shuttleworth Award recipient, made the announcement.<\/p>\n

The Shuttleworth MLS Executive of the Year Award is an annual award that recognizes leaders who are determined to have exhibited the highest qualities of leadership within their organizations and demonstrated a dedication to excellence in Making The Market Work\u00ae.<\/p>\n

Consalvo\u2019s determination and vision have proven invaluable to ARMLS, which is the largest MLS in Arizona and one of the top 10 MLSs in the nation with more than 38,000 REALTORS\u00ae at over 3,100 broker offices. As part of an ARMLS acquisition in 2009, Consalvo was named director of support operations before being promoted to COO in 2011 and CEO in 2012.
