Some 89 percent of brokers surveyed said they had one to five different systems where they stored data on buyers, sellers, consumer search behavior and more. The biggest challenge was leveraging that data \u2013 specifically in generating new listing business. <\/em><\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<h3><strong>One Sotheby\u2019s International Realty, South Florida<\/strong><\/h3>\n<h5><strong>14 offices<\/strong><\/h5>\n<p>\u201cOur biggest challenge is cutting through the noise. How do agents make their messaging stand out?,\u201d says Karina Lopez, vice president of marketing and operation for <a href=\"https:\/\/www.onesothebysrealty.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">One Sotheby\u2019s International Realty<\/a> in Miami. \u201cEveryone wants to know how their property is doing from a valuation standpoint. We needed good information and a way to translate it and make it appealing to buyers and sellers,\u201d says Lopez.<\/p>\n<h5><strong>Integration is Key<\/strong><\/h5>\n<p>Lopez turned to Buyside data because of its ability to capture seller leads and run seamlessly with the brokerage\u2019s other technology. \u201cIntegration is important. Adding another username and password to our agents\u2019 workload is not an option,\u201d she says. Her <a href=\"3-ways-crm-tools-help-real-estate-professionals-sell-homes\/\">lead generation tools<\/a> include an app that replaces the sign-in sheet at an open house. The information is then automatically integrated with the company\u2019s CRM and its Resora email system. \u201cWhen someone registers, the systems will send a \u201cthank you for visiting our open house\u201d note. It\u2019s an immediate follow-up and very few people are doing that,\u201d says Lopez.<\/p>\n<p>The information is also incorporated into Buyside. \u201cThose visitors also feed into Buyside data. The system creates a buyer profile around the specs of the home they visited. So, when we get a listing, we have a database of confirmed buyers to market that listing to,\u201d she says.<\/p>\n<h5><strong>Leads Through Home Valuations<\/strong><\/h5>\n<p>All Buyside agents have a home valuation landing page. It\u2019s a standalone page, personalized and simply says, \u201cDo you want to know what your home is worth?\u201d Potential sellers will enter their home information and Buyside data will pull valuations from three different sources, including Zillow, while also displaying the number of buyers who are in the market for their home. \u201cThat information is combined with other sources to give consumers accurate information about their property and it\u2019s one more way we receive seller leads. We will give them information on their property and deliver it in a way that doesn\u2019t require them to give any personal information other than their address.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The brokerage had over 9,324 valuation inquiries from Buyside, resulting in several hundred verified seller leads and over 150 signed listings.<\/p>\n<p>The best part, she says, is that \u201cBuyside data consolidates so much information from other websites and translates that information so we can become the ultimate resource.\u201d However, it still needs the expertise of a real estate professional to update valuation information based on improvements made to the home and how popular the area is with homebuyers. \u201cIf you\u2019re in a non-active area, you can\u2019t be as aggressive with price,\u201d says Lopez.<\/p>\n<h5><strong>Relationship Building<\/strong><\/h5>\n<p>For every valuation, says Lopez, \u201cwe have a log of that information, and we\u2019re working on implementing <a href=\"https:\/\/www.contactually.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Contactually CRM<\/a> where we\u2019ll pull all of that information into the CRM and automate the workflows.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The truth, says Lopez, is that \u201cBuyside has allowed our agents to create contacts that they didn\u2019t have before and it gives them an excuse to reach out to them.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAs a company, we know we have to do something different to help our agents stand out. We aligned with this tech because we strongly believe that things that worked in the past are changing and evolving.
