It has grown to more than 2,000 members with 25 chapters and is one of the largest LGBT trade organizations in the U.S.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Known industry-wide for its continued advocacy work to eliminate housing discrimination based on sexual orientation and gender identity, NAGLREP also plays a major role in welcoming LGBTs to homeownership.<\/p>\n<p>NAGLREP founder Jeff Berger wanted a way to honor the organization\u2019s members and approached REAL Trends President Steve Murray last winter about working together to establish the real estate industry\u2019s first ranking of LGBT and allied sales professionals.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-49528 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/www.realtrends.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/9\/2021\/01\/Screen-Shot-2018-09-06-at-8_41_54-AM.png\" alt=\"NAGLREP\" width=\"788\" height=\"339\"><\/p>\n<p>That meeting led to the creation of <a href=\"https:\/\/naglrep.com\/blog\/2018\/08\/29\/top-lgbt-agent-list\/\">NAGLREP\u2019s Top LGBT+ Agent List<\/a> which recognizes NAGLREP members who appeared on REAL Trends America\u2019s Best Real Estate Professionals, sponsored by Adwerx.&nbsp; Those included are&nbsp;ranked in the top one-half of 1 percent of the more than 1.3 million Realtors<sup>\u00ae<\/sup> nationwide.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cNAGLREP is a bridge between the real estate and LGBT communities and we take great pride in our advocacy work and also showcasing the emotional and financial benefits of home ownership to LGBTs,\u201d said Berger.&nbsp; \u201cWe are thrilled to work so closely with REAL Trends and Sotheby\u2019s International Realty, which sponsored the program, to bring the NAGLREP Top LGBT+ Agent List to life and honor these incredible real estate professionals.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Shirley Gary of Engel &amp; V\u04e7lkers Buckhead Atlanta and <a href=\"its-all-about-the-people-meet-the-2017-the-thousand-2\/\">Blair Myers<\/a> of Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate Success in Warner Robins, Georgia, headed NAGLREP\u2019s individual agent list.<\/p>\n<p>According to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.realtrends.com\/blog\/rankings\/rt1000\/\">REAL Trends&nbsp;The Thousand as advertised by Adwerx,<\/a>&nbsp;Myers generated 272 transactions sides in 2017 and finished 19<sup>th<\/sup> industry wide on the list.
