Real Estate Program RealSureTM Launches with New Features to Improve Home Seller Experience

Realogy Holdings Corp. (NYSE: RLGY), the largest full-service residential real estate services company in the United States, and Home Partners of America, a residential real estate investment and management company, today announced the launch of updates to real estate program RealSure that focus on providing more choices for home sellers. The new and improved RealSure program is now available in Colorado Springs and Denver, Colorado; Tampa, Florida; and Austin and Dallas, Texas for home sellers who have a qualified property and work with a participating real estate agent affiliated with Better Homes and Gardens® Real Estate, CENTURY 21®, Coldwell Banker®, ERA® or Sotheby’s International Realty®.

RealSure, originally piloted in October 2019, was designed to get to the bottom of the two questions consumers most often have when selling their home – what is the best price I can achieve in the market, and should I wait to look for my next home until my current residence sells? Combined with the expert guidance of a Realogy affiliated agent from one of its well-known brands, RealSure solves for this uncertainty with its two defining programs:

“We’re very pleased to be partnered with Realogy and their affiliated agents to deliver updates and new tools to sellers, buyers and agents through RealSure, allowing them to move forward with both certainty and flexibility during these uncertain times,” said Bill Young, chief executive officer of Home Partners of America.

“The tools, programs and resources Better Homes and Garden Real Estate offers will be critical in boosting the productivity of our agents and helping them to build successful businesses. We were also drawn to the BHGRE brand because it has automatic name recognition and fits our values where home and family matter so much. Moses Lake has grown dramatically, and we are no longer just a stopover. We continue to have people move here from the west side of the state to get away from crowds of Seattle, along with those from California.”

Zillow Launches New Digital Tools for Safer, Easier Home Shopping

The coronavirus pandemic has accelerated the development, rollout and adoption of real estate technology that makes it safer to shop for a home. These digital tools are advancing the future of home shopping, driven by buyers who want an easier, more convenient way to move.

This summer, Zillow® is bringing its innovative self-tour feature to all Zillow-owned homes.  It allows shoppers and agents to use the Zillow app to unlock and tour an unoccupied for-sale home on their timeline, minimizing person-to-person contact.  While piloting the feature in Phoenix, self-tour homes sold six days faster than homes without the feature.

Zillow accelerated the rollout of self-tour technology to help shoppers and agents follow social-distancing recommendations and feel safe while touring a home in person.  A Zillow survey1 found a majority of U.S. adults (55%) say they're less comfortable touring an occupied home during the current coronavirus outbreak.

Zillow is also augmenting its popular 3D Home virtual tours with floor plans that include room dimensions to help shoppers better understand the layout of a home and quickly visualize how their furniture would fit in the space.  In the coming months, Zillow-owned homes for sale in all 24 Zillow Offers markets will feature a custom digital floor plan.  In the future, the automated floor plan generator could be a feature on all homes for sale with a 3D Home virtual tour on the Zillow platform.
