Propertybase Caps Off Record Year of Revenue and Customer Growth

Propertybase, a leading provider of real estate technology, caps off a record year by adding strategic executive hires as it continues to position itself for significant growth in 2019. Tim Fessenden and John Komola will join the existing executive team as Vice President of Operations and Chief Financial Officer, respectively.

Following the successful launch of a new brand in 2018, the Propertybase real estate platform capped off a record year achieving the following significant milestones:

  • 67% bookings increase year-over-year
  • Record number of customers (>1,700)
  • Record number of agent users (>200,000)
  • Completed the acquisition and integration of Propertybase Australia
  • Completed the acquisition and integration of Back Agent Brokerage Management System

“We’ve seen substantial increases in excitement and customer traction as we continue to enhance the platform, evolve and expand into new business segments,” said Vance Loiselle, CEO of Propertybase. “I can’t be more thrilled to add these experienced leaders for our next stage of development.”

The recent additions join Loiselle and industry veterans Steve Simmons (Vice President of Sales), Rocky Rankin (Director of Product) and Cade Madison (Director of Strategic Growth) to accelerate expansion and drive adoption within the real estate industry.

Tim Fessenden, hired as Vice President of Operations, brings more than 18 years of SaaS and enterprise software experience to the company. Fessenden will lead Propertybase’s operations team, responsible for expanding product features, package options and customer service departments, while also adding his knowledge to streamline future acquisitions.

“I’m thrilled to be joining Propertybase and lead the charge in enhancing an already impressive product line,” said Fessenden. “I’m excited to bring my experience in eCommerce, cloud and analytics to a real estate industry that is rapidly evolving.”

Prior to joining Propertybase, Fessenden held the position of Vice President of Products at Yottaa, a SaaS-eCommerce acceleration platform, and previously held positions of General Manager at BMC Software, Inc. and Director of Sales Engineering & Product Management at BladeLogic.

Also joining the executive team is John Komola, Chief Financial Officer. Komola brings with him more than 20 years of progressive finance and operations management experience from an array of software industries. With strong qualifications in scaling organizations both organically as well as through acquisitions, Komola will be charged with driving strategic monetary planning, managing compliance, and also advising on acquisitions. He previously held the same role for five years at Sonian Inc. Prior, Komola was Vice President of Finance & Chief Account Officer for six years at Endeca.

“Both Tim and John have proven track records and effective leadership experiences at fast-moving, global SaaS-based software companies,” said Vance Loiselle. “We have a clear strategy to grow both organically and through key acquisitions, and this team positions us well to execute on all fronts.”
