NAR Offering Curriculum to Educate Agents About Military Relocations

The Military Relocation Professional certification course will contain tips and resources how to serve military clientele.

Do you know what PCSing* is? If you do, we salute you. If you don’t, you probably have little experience with the military, but that doesn’t mean you can’t help service members or their families.

MILLIE, an online community and digital marketplace that connects members of the military and their families with service provider who help with relocation, is partnering with National Association of Realtors® on its Military Relocation Professional certification course. MILLIE will be providing a webinar and an article to the certification course. The course will contain material that provides an overview of the military community, tips and resources to share with military families, and information and content on how to serve military clientele.

“We feel that by collaborating with the National Association of REALTORS® we can better fulfill our end mission of ‘Bringing Military Families Home.’ At MILLIE we aim to provide resources and services to support the PCS journeys of military families. We’re thrilled to educate agents to help them better serve their military clients,” said MILLIE Chief Executive Officer Ken Robbins.

A webinar is underway, and the Realtors® training curriculum MILLIE contributed to is scheduled to release in May.

* PCS: In the U.S. Armed Forces, a permanent change of station is the official relocation of an active duty military service member – along with any family members living with him or her – to a different duty location, such as a military base.
