The Lahey Group joins eXp Realty, rebrands team

The Lahey Group, a top performing real estate team with 21 agents in the Washington D.C.-Maryland-Virginia regional market, announced it’s joining eXp Realty. Jon Lahey and his team previously were associated with RE/MAX before joining global cloud-based brokerage and renaming his team The Fine Living Group at eXp as “the first step towards realizing his vision of national expansion.”

In 2020 Lahey’s team was the highest-ranking Residential Owner Team in Maryland, and 24th nationally in the franchise. Moving The Fine Living team to eXp Realty supports Lahey’s ambition to give his agents more opportunities and inspire Realtors® across the country to dream big.

“As an immigrant who came to America at age ten, I saw how hard my parents worked and realized that anyone with a positive attitude can succeed if they surround themselves with the right people and have access to good resources,” said Lahey. “We are excited to join eXp Realty’s global network of Realtors® and give our agents new opportunities to grow their business through its unique model.”

Unlike traditional brokerages, eXp Realty offers a unique financial model for residential and commercial real estate agents. It goes beyond attractive commissions to provide its agents with an opportunity to earn additional income by helping to grow the company’s agent base globally and earn equity in eXp World Holdings, Inc. stock programs through listing and selling activities. eXp’s cloud-based brokerage is powered by Virbela, the company’s immersive and collaborative platform, which enables its agents to communicate, meet and conduct business in a virtual world.

Lahey is also an author, speaker, Certified Proctor Coach and mentor to the associated agents at The Fine Living Group at eXp. Lahey provides his team with a streamlined process and specialized support teams for lead generation and lead nurturing, as well as administrative paperwork and market trend reports.

Lahey was born in Indonesia and moved to the U.S. in 1990. He earned at B.A. in Information Systems and Management from the University of Maryland, Baltimore before joining the real estate industry. In 2010, he launched The Lahey Group, breaking $1 million in gross commission income (GCI) in five years.
