NAR partners with software provider Rental Beast

Software provider will be NAR’s exclusive partner in the rental space

The National Association of Realtors on Tuesday named Rental Beast as its exclusive recommended software provider in the rental space.

Through the agreement, NAR members will receive free access to “apply now” by Rental Beast, the platform’s secure FCRA-compliant online rental application and tenant screening engine, as well as access to the software provider’s digital education platform.

“Rental Beast created a lead-to-lease platform which brings seamless entry into the multibillion-dollar rental industry and its clientele,” Rhonny Barragan, NAR’s vice president of strategic alliances, said in a statement.

Rental Beast is already integrated with many multiple listing services platforms and Realtor association websites, however, through this new partnership, agents who currently have access to the software provider will have additional access to rental-centric listing management tools, comprehensive rental search, rental listing syndication, rental lead generation and qualification, and renter-to-buyer conversion, according to NAR.

“With our tools, Realtors can also build relationships with potential home buyers by serving as their trusted advisors in the rental process,” Ishay Grinberg, the company’s CEO, said in a statement.

In order to claim the benefit, NAR said that member can sign up for a free account at nar.realtor/rental-beast.

In cities across the country, rent is rising by double digits and inventory is below 3%. Rising mortgage rates will also push some potential buyers into the rental market. Economists expect that rents will continue to climb for the next two or three years.
