Earlier this month Redfin, the Seattle based online realty firm,announced that it would post sales professional ratings for, not only theones they employ, but for all of those in the markets they operate in, ontheir virtual office web site. Shortly after launching this, Redfin wasforced to acknowledge that the information on the MLS was not completeenough or timely enough in some markets, to use as the basis for suchratings. Their offering would have shown historical records of listings andsales, by location, for any sales professionals doing business with anybrokerage in markets where they operated.
