Speak Up Too!
Let’s Face(book) It
Great Idea
If you’re like me, you created a Facebook page and started adding friends willy-nilly—peers, personal friends, childhood and college friends and business acquaintances. You ended up with a jumbled mess of contacts who might or might not want to see photos of your family, inspirational business quotes or read articles you thought were interesting.
You don’t have to create multiple Facebook pages for each group of friends. Instead, take about an hour to create lists. It’s well worth the time. Each group can have different access to your personal photos or business posts.
Linda Roeder of About.com offers these directions:
1. Log into Facebook. You can't create a Facebook group unless you're a member of Facebook and are logged in.
2. Click on the "Groups" link in the main menu on the left side of the page.
3. Then click on the "Create a New Group" button on the Groups page.
4. Fill out the Facebook group creation form. It asks you questions to help you build your new Facebook group. When you're finished filling out the form, click "Create Group" at the bottom of the page.
5. Invite members to join your Facebook group. You can invite Facebook friends by choosing them from friend list found on the page. Or, choose other friends, not yet on Facebook, by adding their e-mail address to the e-mail address box that is directly under the fend list. When you're finished inviting friends to join your Facebook group click "Add".
6. Click "Finish and View" at the top of the page to finish creating your Facebook group.
7. Your Facebook group is now created. You can start adding discussions, messages, videos, photos and other items to your Facebook group.

Friend lists provide organized groupings of your friends on Facebook. For example,
you can create a Friend List for your friends that meet for weekly book
club meetings. You can filter your view of each list’s stream of
activity separately on the home page. Friend Lists are easy to manage
and allow you to send messages and invites to these groups of people
all at once.

Creating Lists
Actually, it's a list your probably want to create. Log in, click on "Home" in upper left corner. Then on Left side is a list of things such as news feed, photos, etc. At the bottom in very small print is a plus sign and the word create. From there you can name the list, click on the people you want in the list and done!
