As a prelude to the 2012 Online Performance Study where REAL Trends collects online data from real estate brokerages across the country, we have decided to open a discussion in regards to listing aggregator performance. Earlier this year we published our 2012 Brokerage Performance Report where we collected data on those online traffic referral sources that are actually send traffic to brokerage websites.

As you can see Trulia is significantly outperforming Realtor.com, homes.com and zillow.com in the amount of monthly referral traffic to a real estate website. As you may have concluded without knowing the sample size it can be difficult to compare to your own numbers. The above sample came from real estate brokerages that averaged 67,742 monthly visits to their websites.
